PLoS, a nonprofit organization of scientists and physicians, is committed to making the world's scientific and medical literature a public resource. New articles are published online weekly; issues are published monthly.
[PLoS] Public Library of Science Genetics (eISSN 1553-7404, ISSN 1553-7390)  is an open access, peer reviewed, full text, scientific journal available free online. Human studies, as well as research on model organisms—from mice and flies, to plants and bacteria will be published.
