[EBSCO] (the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) Provides indexing for 3,001 journals, with coverage dating as far back as 1937, the articles formerly available in the Pre-CINAHL database (i.e., before the articles are fully indexed), and searchable cited references for more than 1,155 journals. CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides full text for 336 journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. Back file begins with 1937 and includes articles in PDF format.

[EBSCO] Offers users access to information from all journals indexed in the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE file. Gain access to information from such fields as medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system and preclinical sciences. Links to full text of over 350 full text journals. Included are abstracts and indexing for over 3,800 current biomedical journals published in the U.S. and 70 foreign countries, and citations found in Index Medicus, the International Nursing Index and the Index to Dental Literature. Additionally, table of contents information for 2,400 titles (provided by the British Document Supply Centre) and the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) index with tree numbers, tree hierarchy is also included.
[U.S. National Library of Medicine] The National Library of Medicine's consumer health database; includes link to Current Clinical Trials. Consumer information includes a medical encyclopedia, medical dictionaries, drug information, and directories listing the locations and credentials of doctors, dentists, and hospitals.
[U.S. National Library of Medicine] The Spanish version of The National Library of Medicine's consumer health database. Includes an illustrated encyclopedia with over 4,000 articles on diseases, injuries, tests, and surgeries. Also includes interactive health tutorials that describe medical procedures, surgeries, and the symptoms and effects of diseases.
[Kansas City Kansas Community College] Indexes 32 professional journals in the mortuary field. Dates of coverage varies with each journal; earliest year covered is 1997. Citations only, no full text.

[EBSCO] a complementary and alternative medicine database designed specifically for the consumer health researcher. Updated weekly, this database provides current information that will satisfy an ever-growing demand for accurate, unbiased information on natural health. The database contains more than 700 evidence-based articles covering medical conditions, alternative therapies, herbs and supplements, functional foods, drug interactions, and homeopathy. The articles contained in the database are based on double-blind, placebo-controlled studies and other forms of meaningful scientific evidence. At present, more than 12,000 such studies are cited in the material, and new studies are added regularly. The evidence-based content has been developed and reviewed by a team of physicians and pharmacologists with the goal of providing consumers with reliable information. Information provided in this database should not be viewed as a means for self-diagnosis or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

[PLoS] Public Library of Science Genetics (eISSN 1553-7404, ISSN 1553-7390)  is an open access, peer reviewed, full text, scientific journal available free online. Human studies, as well as research on model organisms—from mice and flies, to plants and bacteria will be published. Emphasis is on studies of broad interest that provide significant insight into a biological process or processes. Topics include (but are not limited to) gene discovery and function, population genetics, genome projects, comparative and functional genomics, medical genetics, disease biology, evolution, gene expression, complex traits, chromosome biology, and epigenetics.
[PLoS] PLOS Medicine (eISSN 1549-1676 ISSN-1549-1277) is the leading open-access medical journal, providing an influential venue for outstanding research and commentary on the major challenges to human health worldwide. PLoS Medicine seeks to publish articles relevant to clinicians and policymakers across a range of settings that adhere to the highest standards of methodology, ethics and reporting and address the major biological, environmental, social, and political determinants of health. This highly selective journal accepted only 3% of the research articles proposed for publication from September 2011 - 2012.

[PLoS] PLOS ONE (eISSN-1932-6203) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, online publication. PLOS ONE welcomes reports on primary research from any scientific discipline. The journal features reports of original research from all disciplines within science and medicine. By not excluding papers on the basis of subject area, PLOS ONE facilitates the discovery of the connections between papers whether within or between disciplines.
[PLoS] PLoS Pathogens is a monthly, open-source, peer-reviewed scientific journal available free online. The journal's scope includes: bacteria, fungi, parasites, prions and viruses cause a plethora of diseases that have important medical, agricultural, and economic consequences. Moreover, the study of microbes continues to provide novel insights into such fundamental processes as the molecular basis of cellular and organismal function.
