Surplus Processing – Electronic Workflow 09/05/2014, 12:00 Noon

At 12:00 Noon on September 05, 2014, the electronic Surplus Assets workflow will be taken off-line for upgrade and to conduct routine system maintenance.  This upgrade is in response to feedback for improvement from end users.  The expected launch date for the new system is Tuesday, October 14, 2014.  During the outage period, San Antonio College users will not be able to access this electronic workflow based surplus system via AlamoShare (SharePoint) site.  During this temporary maintenance period, you are advised to process surplus requests using a manual submission process.  Please continue to complete a Property Transfer Form, print as usual, include signatures, scan the document and submit via email to the office of VP of College Services -

The new and improved electronic Surplus Assets workflow will have several exciting features including:

·         Real-time reporting

·         Online form entry

·         Simplified user interface

·         Better workflow tracking options for end users.

·         Email notification

On 9/12/14 at 4:45pm we were experiencing a network outage in the MLC building. At 10:00pm discovered the whole campus was down due to one of our main network switch was experiencing problems.  As a result during this time period users were not able to access network services such as email, phones, and internet.  All network connectivity is up as of 8:30am on 9/13/14. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your patience.

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with our Microsoft Exchange email environment. You may experience some delays while sending and\or receiving emails. We are working with the vendor to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
